WHO ARE WE?

EJ Watts Pipeworks Ltd was founded in 1963  based in Barton Le Clay Bedfordshire and we operate from a 2,600 square metre factory.

Our main capabilities are Press work, Tube forming and Welded Assemblies, often comprising all 3 processes into assemblies. Our processes are applied to produce a large and varied array of components such as: LCD TV stands, Tubular Car Seat frames, Scaffold Brackets, Cable management systems, Shop fittings, point of sale stands, office furniture, and car & telecommunication components, to name but a few.

We do not have specific batch volumes and as such we are able to satisfy all customer requirements from low to high production, sample and prototype work, to full production tooled parts.

Our main capabilities are pressings, tube bending and welding but we also have many more supporting processes such as: sheet metal work, tapping, sawing, de burring, guillotining, CNC machining and flow drilling amongst others. Our welding processes are varied too, from Robotic and manual MiG welding to TiG, projection & spot welding to brazing and soldering.

All press tools, tube manipulation tools and welding jigs are designed and made in house, as are all samples and prototypes, thus we are able to minimise the cost of these process to give customers excellent value plus fast lead times. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, quality and value for money. We are a ISO 9001 : 2000 accredited company and have a dedicated workforce that constantly strives to improve and innovate.

QUALITY

Throughout our history we have taken pride in supplying high quality parts to all industries.

Supplying to many demanding sectors shows that we have the necessary resources to produce high quality parts, either on a small or large volume scale.

We have been ISO 9001 : 2000 accredited since 1997.

Our automotive background has provided us with the systems and ability to ensure that we manufacture and supply products to meet our customers’ exacting requirements.

Supplying to many demanding sectors shows that we have the necessary resources to produce high quality parts, either on a small or large volume scale.

To compliment and to ensure the correct production of components we have 2 modern Computerised Measuring Machines (CMM), which are linked directly into the CAD system so as to give a loop of correct working parameters. Most standard production parts are inspected using attributes and all parts checked are recorded within the ISO system.
